      It’ll be a grand night for singing as the Grant Park Orchestra and guests salute the legendary team of Rodgers and Hammerstein with their catalog of cherished songs for stage and screen.     • Ambassadors Performance

      On June 11 from 6:30 to 7:30pm the Ambassadors are planning to razzle, dazzle and entertain you live with a program of oldies, standards and novelty songs and dances, including an early venture into the spring music repertoire. Come out to the Al Hattendorf Center and show your support for the group 25+ enthusiastic singers who are anxious to strut their stuff to bring back memories and start your toes tapping!     • Zumba Fitness Party

      ZUMBA is in the air at Rainbow Falls! Saturday June 22nd enjoy ZUMBA on deck and in the water with AquaZUMBA. Try out the water experience or vice versa! ZUMBA on deck begins at 8:30am and goes to 9:20am; then get your suit on and get ready to ZUMBA in the water until 10:30am. Stay for the day with a family member or your best friend at the pool. You get one free pass, to be used on this day with your paid event admission to Rainbow Falls (of equal or lesser value. Resident: $9 / Nonresident: $16

      On Sunday, June 30 from 6 - 7:30 at the Pavilion Gazebo, swing to the sounds of a 20-piece band! Area musicians comprise this outstanding group which will have you tapping your feet and singing along to their classic sound!

    • Sign up for Elk Grove Idol

      If you love American Idol and love to sing and perform, then this is your chance to shine! Elk Grove Idol will be held following our Summer Block Party on Sunday, July 28 from 6 - 8pm at Mead Park. Perform in front of an audience with a live band and a panel of judges present to critique performances and award prizes to the winners! Participants must register by Friday, July 19th.     • Elk Grove Challenge

      Join us on Saturday, August 10 for two great events on one day. The Elk Grove Challenge is a fun Duathlon for both kids and adults. Kids ages 7-10 compete in a 2.1K bike race and a .75K run. Kids ages 11-13 complete in a 5K bike race and a 1.5K run. Adults ages 14+ compete in a 10K bike race and a 2.5K run. Register for the Elk Grove Challenge at www.runrace.net. All participants will receive a race t-shirt.

    • Bling Your Bicycle

       As part of the exhibit closing, families are invited to bring their bicycles for a makeover! Saturday, August 31 from 1-4pm fill your tires, lubricate your chains, and tighten your bolts with the Friends of Cycling. Decorate your spokes and handlebars using an assortment of materials that will showcase your bicycle! Registration recommended by August 28th. Free for members/$3 for non-members

    • Fitzgeralds Fish Boil

      If you've never been to this fish boil, you're missing out on a fun afternoon and the excitement of watching the fish prepared by throwing kerosene on the fire so the water boils over. Join us on Wed, Sept 4 to enjoy the best fish around or have their famous BBQ chicken during this all-you-can-eat event. Lunch will include fish, chicken, boiled potatoes & onions, coleslaw, salted rye bread and apple square for dessert. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to enjoy Lake Geneva.

      Pirates' Cove Children's Theme Park is open for the season!     • Visit the Historical Museum's Exhibit

      Long before the acclaimed Tour of Elk Grove first treaded its wheels on this community's roadways, Elk Grove has promoted bike safety and advocacy. Pedal your way through the new interactive exhibit to discover the location of the first bicycle shops, Busse Woods bike paths, formation of bicycle friendly clubs, the start of the Tour of Elk Grove Bike Race and more! This exhibit is available March through August.

    • Pavilion Aquatic Center Remodel

      The Pavilion Aquatic Center is now closed for a major pool renovation. The pools will be undergoing extensive renovations to bring you new pools, locker rooms and more! The Elk Grove Park District has obtained agreements with neighboring districts to accommodate residents during this construction period. We thank you for your patience during this time. 

    • Jr.High Teen Dances

      Teens in grades 6-8 enjoy an entertaining night DJ music, dancing, basketball, contests, and more! Discounted passes for the dance are available and must be purchased in advance.

    • Dancing with the Band

      Dance to the big band tunes of the Switch Time Jazz group every first Thursday of the month from 7-9pm at the Al Hattendorf Center. If you love to ballroom dance or just sit and listen to the music of this talented band. At the same time you can now enjoy billiards with your friends.

    • Jr. Golf Passes on Sale

      The Junior Golf Program consists of instruction at the driving range by our teaching professionals and playing time at Fox Run Golf Links. The program is geared toward a specific age group of students. Content will include rules, etiquette, course management and the physical aspect of hitting the ball. All students must have clubs. If you need clubs, please contact Fox Run and we can arrange to have them available for the lesson. All classes will play at Fox Run Golf Links on the last day of each session.
