    Teens entering 6th – 11th grade, get Rainbow Falls Waterpark all to yourselves for the evening! Friday, July 10 from 8-10pm join us at the Waterpark to hang out, swim and have a fun time with your friends at our free, teens only Summer Blast Pool Party!

    Summer Blast Pool Parties are sponsored by the Elk Grove Park District, the Elk Grove Lioness Club, the Elk Grove Police Department and the Elk Grove Youth Committee.

    Dairy Day is a fun-filled family event complete with interactive entertainment! Make ice cream sundaes, learn to churn butter, observe a live dairy cow, play old-fashioned games including milk-bottle toss, handle milking artifacts, make fun crafts, listen to 1800's music, view cheese making demos and learn Elk Grove dairy history.

  • Be the Next Idol!

    If you love American Idol, singing and performing, this is the event for you! Elk Grove Idol will be held following our annual Summer Block Party on July 26. Perform to a live band in front of an audience with a panel of judges critiquing performances and awarding fabulous prizes to the winners!
    Performers must register by Friday, July 17th. Registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Only the first 20 registrants will be able to participate. Call (847) 690-1184.

  • Outdoor Yoga

    Summer is for outdoors! Join us for outdoor Yoga on July 25. 

    Our instructors will help you open your heart and show your face to the sun. Nominal fee, come and enjoy and bring friends; please pre-register. 

    The 5 punch Yoga pass for $25 will be on sale the day of class. The following dates we will meet at the Gazebo, equipment will be provided or you may bring your own.

    Join the Elk Grove Park District for a Summer Block Party on Sunday, July 26 at 3pm at Audubon Park! 

    This FREE community favorite will feature a number of family-friendly activities including food, inflatables, water activities, games, arts and crafts. 

    Live entertainment will be provided by Final Say, whose extensive repertoire of songs range from the latest top 40 hits to classics.

  • Cubs vs Diamondbacks

    Attention Chicago Cubs Fans! Join us on a trip to see the Cubbies take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 4. This late-summer game may even have playoff implications, so reserve your seat today at either of our customer service locations!

  • Elk Grove Challenge

    Saturday, August 8 the Elk Grove Park District presents the Elk Grove Challenge. This triathlon features a swim, bike, run competition for both adults and youth to participate. Competitive age brackets will be Adults, 11 - 13 years, and 7 - 10 years of age. Are you ready for the challenge? 

    Registration for this event is required. Register early for a discounted fee! Start time the day of the race is 7am.

This exhibit is sure to strike a chord with all ages using original artifacts, bold images, and audio.   • Indoor Play at JnJ!

    Are your children feeling cooped up with the Winter blahs? Bring them to Jumps n Jiggles for a day of play! JnJ is an indoor playground for children ages 8 and younger featuring a maze of tunnels, a spiral slide, the kiddy hawk helicopter, the bouncing yo-yo ball, a cobra copter, and the flying gyro copter. Admission also includes unlimited rides on the Pavilion Carousel, a 28 foot high indoor carousel. Open play hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm.

    Sprayground hours are Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm - 7:00 pm and weekends from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
