• Bike Events in May

    May is National Bike Month and Elk Grove Village is a growing bike-friendly community. Elk Grove Park District, the Friends of Cycling in Elk Grove and the Village of Elk Grove encourage you to get out and ride with activities throughout the month of May including: 5 Parks, 5 Photos Destination Ride contest, Friends of Cycling Rides, Traffic Skills 101, Annual Ride of Silence, Bike with the Mayor, Bikes and Bagels and more!

  • Art in the Park

    Experience our Annual Art in the Park event on Sunday, June 7 from 12 to 5pm on the Village Green! Be a part of the vibrant Chicagoland culture, as we feature beautiful artwork, talented performers and creative activities in the heart of our community. Admission is free. 

    Highlights include: Juried Art Booths, Children's Art Exhibit, Open Air Studio, Demos & Hands-on projects, musical entertainment and a silent auction.

  • Officer Friendly Visit

    On Tuesday, June 2 drop in for a friendly visit at Jumps n'Jiggles with the friendliest officer around! Officer Friendly will visit with our children from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Stay and play on the Jumps n' Jiggles playground and take a ride on the indoor carousel!

    Discover Elk Grove’s rich musical history and celebrate diverse musicians and educators through the sounds of jazz, rock, classical, folk and opera. This exhibit is sure to strike a chord with all ages using original artifacts, bold images, and audio. Reflect on what music means to you and share your own musical memories as part of your exhibit experience. Free admission. Sponsored by Jarosch Bakery. On display at the Elk Grove Historical Museum from March 6 – August 29

  • Indoor Play at JnJ!

    Are your children feeling cooped up with the Winter blahs? Bring them to Jumps n Jiggles for a day of play! JnJ is an indoor playground for children ages 8 and younger featuring a maze of tunnels, a spiral slide, the kiddy hawk helicopter, the bouncing yo-yo ball, a cobra copter, and the flying gyro copter. Admission also includes unlimited rides on the Pavilion Carousel, a 28 foot high indoor carousel. Open play hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm.

  • Big Band Live Music Night

    Join us for a lively evening at Garden Terrace Banquets during Big Band Live Music Nights as Switch Time Jazz group performs fun, upbeat jazz that will make you want to move to the music on the dance floor. The ambiance of the banquet room is fantastic with entertainment, dancing, music, a talented band and delicious treats from Jarosch Bakery. BBLMNs are held every first Thursday from 7-9pm.

    Please note the summer schedule for BBLMN: June 11 (instead of the 4th), not scheduled for July & August

  • Jr. High Teen Dances

    Teens in grades 6-8 enjoy an entertaining night DJ music, dancing, basketball, contests, and more! Discounted passes for the dance are available and must be purchased in advance.
