Youth Athletic Associations

We offer a variety of adult leagues and league types throughout the entire year including softball, basketball, tennis, volleyball and more. Listed below are the leagues broken down by season. Select a season and the desired sport for more information.

  • Elk Grove Girl's Softball
    Elk Grove Girls Softball 

    The Elk Grove Girl's Softball organization provides competitive softball teams for girls at all levels, 1st grade through high school.

    Our house program provides recreational teams at the following divisions:

    • Instruction,  Grades K - 2
    • Pony Tail,  Grades 3 - 4
    • Sophomore,  Grades 5 - 6
    • Junior,  Grades 7 - 8
    • Senior,  Grades 9 - 12

    The house season starts May 1st and runs into mid-July. All teams are selected by a draft with the exception of the Instructional Division.

    Our Fire program provides competitive tournament teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U levels for girls in the house program who want to compete at a higher level.

    Our Heat program provides competitive full-time travel teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U age levels.

    Travel registration and try-outs are held in August.

  • Elk Grove Soccer Club
    Elk Grove Soccer Club 

    The Elk Grove Soccer Club provides recreational House leagues played in the winter, spring, and fall. Our program is co-ed in the spring and single gender in the fall if enrollment allows. Preschool and 7 - 8 grade divisions are always co-ed. Practices are held once or twice a week at the coach's discretion. House games are scheduled on Saturdays. We also offer a competitive soccer program available in our Travel Club. Travel try-outs are the first week in June.

    House program:   Grades K - 8,  Preschoolers must be registered in preschool.

    Travel program:  Grades 2 - High school

    Elk Grove Travel Baseball  Elk Grove Travel Baseball will field a variety of teams. Full-time, part-time and tournament teams will be offered. Association contacts and more info can be found on our website.

  • Elk Grove Youth Baseball
    Elk Grove Youth Baseball  The Elk Grove Youth Baseball organization provides a program of House and Travel Leagues serving boys and girls ages 5 - 18. Pee-Wee through Colt. The House program provides recreational games and basic fundamental instruction through practice and scheduled games. The program includes the All Star Weekend with Home Run Derby and Skills competition. The upper levels of the program have a playoff and championship games.

  • Elk Grove In-Line Hockey
    Elk Grove Youth In-Line Hockey 

    The Elk Grove In-Line Hockey program is designed to provide recreational play in a team setting for children of all skill levels from preschool to 12th grade.

    The fall season begins in mid August and concludes by November. The spring season starts in March and concludes in early June. Besides competitive yet recreational divisions for 1st through 12th graders, we also feature the Mighty-Mites. Preschoolers and Kindergarteners can get a head start on this great sport through skill development and guided scrimmages.

    Games are played at the Mead and the Rainbow Falls rinks. Participants must provide their own equipment, which includes a hockey helmet with full protective face guard, mouth guard, elbow pads, shoulder pads, knee/shin guards, hockey pants/girdle, hockey gloves, hockey stick and in-line skates. The league provides goalie equipment for those players interested in being a goalie.

    Registration fee includes league jersey.

  • Elk Grove Youth Football & Cheerleading
    Elk Grove Youth Football & Cheerleading 

    The Elk Grove Youth Football Organization provides a program to develop basic football and cheerleading skills.

    Football:
    In-house Flag ages 5 - 7
    Tackle ages 8 - 14
    Football teams are structured to accommodate a youth's age, weight, and ability. Fee includes use of all certified protective equipment, game jerseys with names on the back, practice jersey, and awards. All tackle football players MUST be present at registration for a preliminary weigh-in. Participants cannot be in high school.

    Cheerleading:We are looking for Flag cheerleaders ages 8 - 14. Participants cannot be in high school. Cheerleading registration fee includes a shirt and award, and there will be an extra fee for new uniforms that will be yours to keep.     Ages and grades for both football and cheerleading are as of Sept 1 of current year.

    All participants are drafted to their team and a child is not guaranteed to play or cheer for a particular team.

  • Elk Grove Youth Basketball
     Elk Grove Youth Basketball 

    The Elk Grove Youth Basketball program is designed to provide recreation within as narrow an age group as possible, while providing a challenging game schedule for both boys and girls in first through eighth grades.

    The first - third grade leagues may be coed. All other leagues are separated into boys and girls leagues. First through fourth grade leagues are strictly instructional and developmental. All teams in fifth through eighth grade leagues are selected by a draft process.

    The season typical runs from November through March. Eighth grade boys and seventh and eighth grade girls play on Friday nights while all other leagues play on Saturday. Practices for all leagues are once a night on weekdays.
