This is a wonderful fall event. This year meet a Civil War surgeon, watch a military reenactment, there will be a petting zoo, historic demonstrations and games. Visitors can make a scarecrow for only $7. Pioneer Day has free admission. There is a bake sale and a place to buy a snack.

Dress up your dog in his Halloween best and join us for a morning of fun. All dogs will have an opportunity to perform tricks to win treats. Dogs and owners will be able to parade through Pirates Cove and ride our Safari Express train. All dogs must be leashed at all times.

Presentation about a man looking for the body of his son killed during th Civil War. This provides a unique glance into the issues faced by families during this historic time. Ages 15 and older will enjoy the presentation. This is an outdoor program please dress for the weather.

The Halloween Fest is the best party of the year. Admission includes pumpkin, hayride, crafts hot dog meal and prizes. Tickets at the door are $12 per child and $10 per adult.Buy tickets by October 28th and save. Children are $6 adults are $5 and seniors are $4.

Teams of four people will participate in this 4 hour cycling expedition led by our Pavilion Fitness certified instructors. Team members alternate as often as desired to keep the wheel spinning. Proceeds go to the Elk Grove Parks Foundation Scholarship program wihci provices funding to those who can not afford Park District programs.
