Locker Room Etiquette

Addressing Locker Room Etiquette in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms.  Given all of the concerns regarding colds and flues (including H1N1), it is imperative that everyone follow proper hygiene practices.  As a common courtesy to all members, please follow the Locker Room Etiquette rules and fitness policies to ensure safety and sanitation.  Please be advised of the following:

• When showering it is strictly prohibited to: blow your nose, cough up phlegm, or spit in the shower stall.
• Blowing your nose in a towel or spitting in a towel is prohibited.
• If you must shave in the locker room, please be sure to clean up the area around you after you have finished.
• Do not leave towels lying around the locker room benches or floor.
• Towels supplied by towl service are to be returned to the bins at the locker room entrance or fitness front desk.
• Cell phone usage is prohibited in locker rooms (ordinance # 259).

Violations may lead to a suspension of your membership.  Let’s work together to take care of our wonderful facility!
