Johnny Rustler & the Beach Bum Band bring together island, warm weather and beach music with variety for everybody. This band, which has performed alongside Jimmy Buffet on numerous occasions is sure to bring lots of fun.

Bring your little prince or princess to rule over the park. Plays will be held at noon and 2:00pm. A costume parade with all the characters will be held at 1:00pm

Everyone present will join in the races. We will have duck races in the lazy river all afternoon. There will be fun for all ages and prizes.

Cool off at the museum for this fun-filled family event. Make an ice cream sundae, churn butter, learn about dairy history and play old-fashioned summer games with the Vintage Base Ball team. $4.00 admission (includes tickets to use towards an ice cream sundae and your choice of crafts, games, or a discount coupon for the museum store). Chicago Groove Collective is one of the most dynamic new bands on the Chicago music scene. They play classic hits from 1930 to 1970 along with contemorary favorites from Talking Heads, Dave Matthews, Maroon 5 and Beyonce.

A fun day for the gals only. Your day will include a continental breakfast begining at 7:00am. 18 holes of golf with a cart, a buffet lunch follows your morning of golf. Raffle prizes and games on the course. Grab some friends and come out to have fun.

Sign up today. This event only takes 20 couples and the sign up deadline is July 12. The mixed couples scramble includes 18 holes of golf, hole games and good food after the golfing.

When you do your summer house cleaning do not forget your friendly neighborhood Adult Center Rummage Sale on July 23 and 24. Donations will be accepted starting on July 9. At that time we will accept clean useable clothing household items and furniture. Our center relies on this event as a fundraiser to support our center. One persons trash is another persons treasure.

Kids, bring your favorite sutffed animal or toy doll for a pizza dinner on the pirate ship. This fun event includes admission to Pirates Cove for both you and your stuffed friend, a pizza dinner, a picture with your friend, and a chance to make a craft.

Elizabeht Carlson will present an interacitve cooking class at our museum. She will prepare food from 1850 over a campfire. Food will be tasted and you will receive a cookbook. Great for all ages. This event is sponsored by the Illinois Humanities Council. Registration is required due to limited seating.

Dress up in your favorite costume to trick or treat through Pirates Cove. Visit the haunted house for fun and thrills and join in a costume parade that will be held at 2:00pm

Adults 18+ and youth ages 7 to 17 are invited to compete in this fun and exciting special event. Top 3 finishers in each age dividsion will recieve an award. Top 3 males and top 3 females in open race will receive an award. Register at the Pavilion front desk by August 10th. Challenge yourself to swim, bike and run.
