Elk Grove Park District Preschool
The Elk Grove Park District Preschool is fully accredited from NECPA, National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. Celebrating over 45 years in the community, our preschool has had the pleasure of providing an outstanding early childhood education for the families of Elk Grove Village and surrounding area.
We follow the Get Set for School Pre-K curriculum and we align our instruction to the Illinois Early Learning Development Standards. Our stellar, well-educated staff has a combined 200+ years of experience, and includes specialized music and gym teachers. We also have a secure and innovative playground. Come join the fun! Registrations for each school year will only be accepted until October 31. All children must be fully potty independent.

Additional Preschool Options
If you are looking for more days for your child, you may enroll in a combination of classes. By combining the programs listed below, 3 and 4 year old children are able to spend all day (7:00 am - 6:00 pm) with us here at the Elk Grove Park District Preschool.
Early Birds - morning care
Do you need early morning care for your AM class preschooler? Children in an AM Preschool class are able to register for this program. We offer supervised playtime starting at 7:00 am Monday through Friday at the Al Hattendorf Center. Early Birds offers three time slots for dropping off your child early either at 7am, 7:30 am, or 8:30 am until class begins, and can coordinate with any number of days your child is in attendance at the Preschool. Children may bring their own breakfast. We provide milk and water upon request. Please call (847) 364-7224 for more information.

Lunch Box Kids - preschoolers can join us for lunch
This program enables your morning EGPD Preschooler in a 3 or 4 year old class to stay for lunch until 12:45 pm, or your afternoon EGPD Preschooler to come for lunch at 11:45 am in the Al Hattendorf Center Multipurpose Room. Afternoon class preschoolers will be escorted to their Preschool class after lunch has ended. Children can bring their own lunchbox or sack lunch. We provide milk and water.

Preschool Extended Day - extend the fun and learning
Preschoolers have lunch, quiet time, play time, large muscle activities and stories. We provide milk and water. Children in a 3 or 4 year old (morning) EGPD Preschool class are eligible for this class and will be escorted from class to this program.
