The Elk Grove Park District has engaged Signature Demolition Services of Bridgeview, Illinois to demolish the building on the park property. Signature Demolition Services will be erecting a protective fence around the site. They will begin the demolition process on or about July 24th, 2020.
During the demolition, the playgrounds parking lot, and park will be closed. The Village will provide inspection service and monitor site conditions. Work is allowed from 7:00am until 6:00pm.
The area where the building is located will be converted to open park space.
