Colony Park, west of Mead Junior High, is beginning the long process of landscape management and restoration.  Located at 1920 Baltimore Drive, this park is an open land site with walking and biking trails for public use and enjoyment.

2012 and 2017 Winners

Every five years a park district has the opportunity to apply for the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) Health & Wellness Committee’s Exceptional Workplace Award. The Elk Grove Park District won in 2012 and again in 2017.
