Elk Grove Youth Hockey Programs

The Elk Grove Park District offers different hockey programs for a variety of age levels: 

All programs are currently offered in the fall & spring seasons, with the fall season running from mid August to early November and the spring season running late March to early June.

Youth Hockey Skills Clinic (ages 6-8)

Our clinic is designed to introduce participants to the game of hockey. Clinic will feature a strong emphasis on learning the basics of hockey including shooting, stickhandling and passing in a floor hockey setting, no skates needed! Sticks, balls, and goalie equipment will be provided. 

Outdoor Floor Hockey League (ages 9-12)

This program will further develop players hockey skills in a league format. Players will have an opportunity to learn and play all positions. Practice will occur on the first meeting day with games for the duration of the season, specific times will be listed on the schedule. Teams are separated by skill level, grade, school and gender. Volunteer Coaches are needed to help. Sticks, balls, and goalie equipment will be provided. T-shirt will be included. 

Inline Hockey League (ages 13-18)

Join EGV Inline Hockey and play The Fastest Game in Town! Play in our twelve game season under the lights. All teams will finish the regular season with a single elimination playoff. Participants must provide their own equipment, which includes a hockey helmet with full protective face guard, mouth guard, elbow pads, shoulder pads, knee/shin guards, hockey pants/girdle, hockey gloves, hockey stick and in-line skates. The league provides goalie equipment for those players interested in being a goalie. Registration fee includes a customized league jersey, with player's name & number.
