What to know before you come to the Elk Grove Historical Museum:
Orientation Center Open Hours:
- Tuesday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Farm House Tours:
We will begin offering time tickets to explore and hear the Farm House’s stories! To book your tour, call (847) 439-3994 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Invite your friends and family and select a time and day for your visit. Tours are 30 minutes, times available are as follows:
- Tuesdays - 2:15pm, 3:15pm and 4:15pm
- Fridays - 2:15pm, 3:15om and 4:15pm
- Saturday - 11:15am, 12:15pm and 1:15pm
Admission: Suggested Donation of $1 per person.
* At this time we are limiting tours to up to 5 people.

What to expect during your visit:
Please arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled tour. Enter the Orientation Center (School House) where you may wait for your entire party and meet your tour guide.
Face coverings are required for the duration of your visit.
The Elk Grove Park District is using enhanced cleaning practices. Commonly used surfaces will be cleaned after each tour.
If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, please do not visit at this time, we will gladly reschedule or refund your tour ticket.
The Elk Grove Historical Museum
The Museum specializes in the history of Elk Grove and its development over time. Open year round, the Museum offers tours, school and scout programs, exhibits, and assistance with research on Elk Grove Village and the surrounding area. Experience history in a new way with crafts, games, exhibits and demonstrations!
