As of Tuesday, February 2, 2021 the Governor’s Phase 4 Mitigation Plan became effective for our area. Regular operations and programs are affected and subject to change at any time. The Elk Grove Park District continues to follow the recommendations from the Governor’s office, The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) as it pertains to public parks and recreation activities and facilities. Morton & Olmsted Park - Our Parks crew is working on clearing weed trees and brush along the creek as part of an inhouse restoration project. Included in the work is a "stack and burn" of wood material as a part of the cleanup. The work will be ongoing throughout the winter.
