Pavilion Fitness Construction Project
On Thursday, May 9 the Board of Commissioners approved the Functional Fitness Construction project. Updates will be posted below throughout the duration of this project. We also have projects boards displayed at the Fitness Center to showcase the project’s details.
Timeline
- Project Start Date: Monday, July 8
- Project completion Date: Early September

- Office Removal:
- Fitness Coordinator’s office and Trainer’s office will be removed.
- Pilates Reformer and Personal Training Area will be relocated.
- Walls will be removed.
- Electrical will be relocated.
- New flooring will be installed.
- New ceiling tiles will be installed.
- New lighting will be installed.
- Office Removal:
- All cardio equipment currently near the large windows and around the center railing will be relocated to the newly renovated area.
- New Equipment:
- 8 new Precor treadmills.
- 4 new Free Motion Incline trainer treadmills.
- 4 new Matrix Climbmills.
- 2 new SciFit hand bikes.
- Other cardio equipment will be moved but not upgraded at this time.
- The newly created Functional Area (the area in front of the large windows and now clear of all of the cardio equipment) will be installed once the construction is complete.
