Pirates Cove FAQ

Yes, you may bring in your own food and beverages into the park. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park. A concession stand is also available to purchase food, beverages and ice cream at reasonable prices.


Most rides at Pirates’ Cove are for children only. Adults may ride the Safari train and the Pirate Plunge Slide.


Pirates’ Cove is a theme park not a water park, while there is a water attraction (Barnacle Bay Boats), your child will not need a swimsuit or towel. However, the Pavilion Aquatics Center is right next door to the park but does require additional fees. If you decide to go to the Pavilion Aquatics Center you will need a swimsuit and towel.


Yes! Renting Pirates’ Cove is a wonderful experinece to give guests. The whole park is available for rentals based on availability on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. The cost is $3,500. The park can welcome up to 800 guests. When the park is rented privately we can work with you to welcome caterers, entertainment as well as a mobile bar. Call the rental coordinator at 847.228.3183 for more details.


We ask that your guest count remain within the purchaused party package. If you need to review this, please reach out. We will do anything we can to work with you to create a positive experience for your guests and any neighboring parties.


Due to space and safety restrictions we ask that you do not bring a piñata into the park.


You may bring decorations, however there is limited space to hang them. Confetti is not allowed, additional cleaning fees will be collected if confetti is found to be used in your party site.
