The Elk Grove Park District is located in Elk Grove Village, a northwest suburb of Chicago, just 10 minutes from O’Hare International Airport. The Elk Grove Park District maintains approximately 473 acres, including 43 parks and a community athletic field that includes football, soccer and baseball fields, 19 public tennis courts and several facilities.
Its premier facility is the Jack A. Claes Pavilion. The Pavilion community center amenities include a 28-foot Carousel, Jump n’ Jiggles indoor playground, Pavilion Fitness Centre, Garden Terrace Banquets facility, arts and craft rooms, dance studios, racquetball courts, two gymnasiums, one outdoor and two indoor swimming pools.
The Park District also operates the Sheila Ray Adult Center, Preschool, Rainbow Falls Waterpark, Pirates’ Cove Children’s Theme Park, Fox Run Golf Course and Driving Range, Elk Grove Historical Museum and Rainbow Falls Community Center, which houses teen activities and various programs.
