Elk Grove Historical Museum

The Museum specializes in the history of Elk Grove and its development over time. Open year round, the Museum offers tours of our Victorian Era farmhouse and grounds, school and scout programs, exhibits and assistance with research on Elk Grove Village and the surrounding area. Experience history through various mediums, including crafts, games, exhibits and demonstrations!

The Elk Grove Historical Museum is open year-round during the times listed below. Temporary Exhibition

History Reimagined – A collaboration between the Elk Grove Historical Museum and the Elk Grove Village Artist’s Association

Experience history through a new lens by viewing a brand new collection of paintings created by members of the Elk Grove Village Artist’s Association. Inspired by historic photographs from the Museum’s own collection, these pieces of art will add new perspective to visitors’ views of Elk Grove’s past, and hopefully create a spark of creativity among viewers of the exhibition.
